Day 6 – Seoul To Busan By Bullet Train : South Korea (Apr’24)
On the sixth day of our South Korean adventure in April 2024, we embarked on a journey from Seoul to Busan aboard the KTX bullet train, setting the stage for a day filled with exploration and discovery.
Day 6 – Travel Memories in Busan, South Korea
- Traveled to Busan from Seoul by KTX bullet train
- Checked in at the Arban Hotel in the Seomyeon area
- Took lunch at Mubanna Chondak Chicken near Arban hotel
- Experienced local travel by subway
- In the evening walk around Gwangalli Beach
- Night party and dinner at Haeundae Beach
Morning Departure from Seoul
We began our day at Seoul Station, the bustling heart of the city’s transportation network. The KTX (Korea Train Express) bullet train, renowned for its speed and efficiency, was our chosen mode of travel. Departing promptly, the train accelerated smoothly, reaching speeds of up to 305 km/h, ensuring a swift journey to Busan. The ride was comfortable, with spacious seats and panoramic windows offering fleeting glimpses of the Korean countryside.
Arrival and Check-In at Arban Hotel
After approximately 2.5 hours, we arrived at Busan Station. From there, a short subway ride brought us to the Seomyeon area, where we checked into the Arban Hotel. The hotel’s modern amenities and central location made it an ideal base for our explorations.
Lunch at Mubanna Chondak Chicken
Hunger led us to Mubanna Chondak Chicken, a local eatery renowned for its flavorful fried chicken. The crispy exterior and tender meat provided a satisfying meal, offering a taste of Busan’s culinary delights.

Exploring Gwangalli Beach
Post-lunch, we ventured to Gwangalli Beach, known for its clean sands and the iconic Gwangan Bridge that spans the horizon. The beach was serene, with gentle waves lapping the shore. As evening approached, the bridge illuminated, casting a mesmerizing glow over the water—a sight that left a lasting impression.
Dinner at Haeundae Beach
Our day concluded at Haeundae Beach, another of Busan’s famed coastal spots. The area was vibrant, with numerous restaurants offering fresh seafood.
Reflecting on the day’s experiences, the journey from Seoul to Busan by bullet train was not just a mode of transportation but an integral part of our adventure, connecting us to the heart of South Korea’s dynamic culture and landscapes.
