In November 2023, during my visit to Dehradun, We had the opportunity to experience a blend of spirituality, local culture, and modern leisure.
Day 5 – Things to do in Dehradun, India
- Visited Nunawala Gurudwara near Dehtadun
- Had a delicious food “Lungar” at Nunawala Gurudwara
- Then visited our friends and family’s homes for tea
- In the evening visited Pacific Mall, Dehradun
- Enjoyed drinks and dinner at Chili’s American Bar & Grill Restaurant in Pacific Mall, Dehradun
- Then drive towards Mussoorie road
- Drink coffee at Eltham Bakery & Coffee House
Morning at Nunawala Gurudwara
My day began with a visit to Nunawala Gurudwara, a serene Sikh place of worship near Dehradun. The peaceful ambiance and the community’s warmth provided a profound spiritual experience. After the prayers, I partook in the ‘Langar,’ a traditional communal meal offered to all visitors, regardless of background. The simple yet flavorful food was a testament to the Gurudwara’s hospitality.
Afternoon Tea with Friends and Family
Post the Gurudwara visit, I spent quality time with friends and family, enjoying tea and engaging in heartfelt conversations. These moments of connection added a personal touch to my trip, reinforcing the bonds that time and distance had stretched.
Evening at Pacific Mall and Chili’s American Bar & Grill
In the evening, I explored Pacific Mall, Dehradun, a modern shopping destination offering a variety of retail and dining options. Dinner was at Chili’s American Bar & Grill, where I relished a hearty meal in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant’s vibrant setting and diverse menu made it a memorable dining experience.
Late-Night Coffee at Eltham Bakery & Coffee House
To conclude the day, I drove towards Mussoorie Road and stopped at Eltham Bakery & Coffee House. The cozy ambiance and aromatic coffee provided a perfect end to a fulfilling day.
