Our journey began with a visit to Khao Takiap Beach, a tranquil spot known for its clean sands and the imposing Buddha statue that overlooks the area. The beach offered a peaceful retreat, providing a glimpse into the local way of life and the natural beauty of Hua Hin.
A Delightful Lunch at Inu Cafe
Seeking a unique dining experience, we headed to Inu Cafe, a haven for dog enthusiasts. The cafe is home to a group of friendly Shiba Inu dogs, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was a joy interacting with the dogs while savoring a variety of delectable dishes.

For accommodation, we chose the White Sand Hotel, located just a five-minute walk from Hua Hin Beach. The hotel is set amidst lush gardens and offers easy access to local attractions, including the Hua Hin Night Market. Its proximity to the beach made it an ideal spot for evening strolls by the sea.
Indulging in Thai Street Food
No visit to Hua Hin is complete without experiencing its vibrant street food scene. We spent evenings exploring local markets, sampling an array of dishes that tantalized our taste buds. From spicy papaya salad to freshly grilled seafood, each meal was a testament to Thailand’s rich culinary heritage.
Ring in the New Year with Festivities
As night fell on December 31st, the streets of Hua Hin transformed into a lively celebration ground. The beachfront was adorned with lanterns, and the sky was illuminated with occasional fireworks, building anticipation for the midnight display.
