After our wedding, we planned 2 days trip to Mussoorie.
Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board, near Dehradun city in the Dehradun district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is about 35 kilometers (22 mi) from the state capital of Dehradun
1st Nov’22 – On the way to Mussoorie Hill Station
Our adventure began on November 1st as we ascended the winding roads leading to Mussoorie. The crisp mountain air and verdant landscapes set the tone for a refreshing retreat.
Accommodation at Sun & Snow Hotel
Upon reaching Mussoorie, we checked into the Sun & Snow Hotel, conveniently located near Mall Road. This establishment is acclaimed for its breathtaking views of the Garhwal Himalayas, with rooms that feature private balconies—perfect for soaking in the serene surroundings.
Culinary Delights at Little Llama Café
For lunch, we visited the Little Llama Café, a cozy eatery offering panoramic views and a soothing musical backdrop. The delightful cuisine complemented the café’s warm ambiance, making it a memorable dining experience.
Strolling Along Mall Road
Post-lunch, we explored Mall Road, a bustling promenade lined with shops, cafés, and colonial-era architecture. This area offers stellar views of the Doon Valley and serves as a central point for tourists.
Visit to Company Garden
The following day, we visited Company Garden, a vibrant space located 3 kilometers from The Mall. Also known as “Municipal Garden” or “Company Bagh,” it boasts a variety of beautiful flowers and an amusement park, making it a popular spot for picnics and leisurely walks.
Evening at Glenn Restobar
In the evening, we dined at Glenn Restobar, a comfortable locale known for its diverse menu, including Thai curry, pizzas, and classic small plates. The live music and cozy atmosphere provided a perfect end to our day.
